Blue Clarinet

Blue Clarinet is a book of original pieces with more than just a hint of the blues. They are technically undemanding but must be played in the correct style to achieve a convincing result. Simple chord symbols have been added to allow freedom for improvisation. The first two pieces are entirely in the low register and therefore can be played by clarinettists of very modest ability. To facilitate rehearsal, the clarinet part has been printed at concert pitch above the accompaniment. Simple chord symbols have been added to the middle section of each piece to allow freedom for improvisation. Piano part included.
