Rigotti GOLD Jazz Alto Saxophone Pack of 3
The cane of the Var and Cogolin regions in the south east of France, are among the best in the world.
Grown alongside rivers and streams, Rigotti Reeds represent a large area that is maintained all year round.
The cane reaches maturity after two years, measuring 7-8 metres tall with a diameter of 26-32cm, and is cut during winter from December to March.
The work on the reeds is split into stages. Rigotti only keeps the 2-3 meters from the base (the rest is used as bamboo).
This is where the true work starts. Each tube is calibrated to a particular instrument.
