After many years of development, the wait is over. Jupiter has launched the new JCL-737STO wooden clarinet. Designed as a “step up” instrument for the enthusiastic student, this new model offers exquisite looks, using specially selected high quality granadilla wood, which has been nurtured and prepared for at least 4 years before manufacture, which gives a tight grain and beautiful finish. The JCL-737STO Wooden Clarinet offers well balanced intonation and rich timbre. It has metal tenons which not only help protect the instrument but helps regulate the joint fitting for any alterations made by weather or climate changes. The slightly uplifted G/C tone hole and repositioned key lever gives the instrument an ergonomic design. As with the 631, the JCL-737STO comes with blue steel springs as standard, plus a fully adjustable thumb rest. The keys are silver plated and this clarinet comes complete in a molded plastic case.
